Exchange 2007 - Email Size Limits
By Morgan on October 17, 2007 | In Exchange, Tech Diary |Hello,
Here’s my first post on something. It’s a wonderful site so I thought I would finally contribute to it. Of course in my usual lacksidasical manner, instead of grabbing all the detail out of the following article, I’m just going to post their information. It’s far better to do that since they’ve gone to a lot of effort - even included screen shots.
Basically this article explains how to expand on the Exchange 2007 default size limits for incoming and outgoing emails. The major trick here is that, you can’t actually change the most important setting from the GUI or PowerShell. It has to be done using either the older Exchange 2003 Management Console, or ADSI Edit. What’s up with that?? Apparently this will be fixed in Exchange 2007 SP1, so we have that to look forward to.
So without further adieu:

Enjoy.
